Be Local is the UK’s first ever Eco-local Reward Scheme to benefit both local businesses and households, as well as the local environment.
Launched in August 2020, Be Local is a community support initiative developed by The Hive , a full-service hospitality and coworking hub in Cranbrook, Kent, that caters for a range of social and business needs across the local community. Driven by their passion to support all things local, The Hive’s vision was to build on these core values by proactively helping the local community to thrive post-lockdown. And so, by using part of its Covid-19 Grant to fund the initiative, Be Local was born.
Be Local provides vital exposure for organisations across the Weald of Kent and Sussex, rewards loyal customers with a variety of deals and discounts, and supports a range of good causes including its chosen charity, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
