The Fuerextra is Fuerteventura’s only bi-lingual paper. The Fuertextra newspaper is a local paper distributing 8,000 copies throughout the whole island. It is written for locals and tourists to provide news items about the Canary Islands as well as mainland Spanish news. It has been established for around 9 years and is a very popular read around the island, printed in English and Spanish.
