The Big WOW

The Big WOW is for everyone, all ages, locals and visitors. It’s the only multi-media dedicated to promoting events on-line, in print, by electronic mail and hyperlocal geo-personalised mobile marketing.

With the largest source of event information, BigWOW serves the geographic region of the Weald, abridging West Kent, South Surrey, East Hampshire, Central and East Sussex.

It’s all about events in the South East !

The aim of BigWOW is to promote as many events as possible in the South East region, to empower their organisers and venues and to raise the profile of the region as a whole.

The Big WOW accepts events from within the region marked with a red dotted line, as well as a buffer zone around its perimeter of 15 miles.

The website is self-service, giving event advertisers complete control over their own information, so that they can ensure their details are up to date at any one point in time. The result is a portal packed with real time information of hundreds of events across the region.

The magazine is published monthly. 30,000 copies of the print edition are distributed door-to-door, through pubs, cafes, supermarkets, newsagents and petrol stations.

The e-zine (digital edition of the magazine) is emailed to 35,000+ subscribers.

Event advertisers that offer special promotions and competitions are able to push their event by newsletter bulletins and mobile phone advertising too.

The GMS Alliance

For more than two decades Global Media Sales has worked hand-in-hand with other sales representatives around the world to maximise reach and return for publishers. To achieve this it has developed and maintained long-standing relationships with numerous top quality sales companies to represent media in Canada, Europe, Japan, the Middle East, South East Asia and the USA. Between us we have shared expertise and supported one another for the benefit of those we serve.

In 2001 Global Media Sales decided to formalise this trading arrangement with the creation of the The GMS Alliance to establish a credible network of media representatives to co-operate in selling advertising space.

Creating a connected sales alliance with global access to agencies and clients and a world class media sales representative platform providing return on investment.

Each partner provides leading sales organisation, excellent service and sales structure and strong market presence.

From print, radio and TV to digital, data and lead generation, thanks to its alliance partners GMS has been able to respond to a vast array of briefs from clients and their media agencies, for both B2B and consumer campaigns, comprising off-line and on-line media, requiring country specific, pan-regional or international coverage.
