Travel News was founded 1985 and is Sweden’s leading forum for the travel and tourism industry.

We issue an e-newsletter each workday. The site travelnews.se consists of news, job advertisements and locked articles for subscribers. We issue 8 print magazines each year – the same news to be found digitally with subscription password.
We cover the meeting industry and the business travelling, the travel agencies, the travel organizers, the airlines, the airports, the hotels, the cruise-ship companies, the train companies, the bus companies and the car rental companies. Travel News also covers the development of IT services within the industry as well political and legal decision-making. Management and economic development are also of course in our focus.
Each February they arrange the Swedish travel industry’s version of the Oscars – Grand Travel Award – with seminar, prize ceremony and +500 guests. For the second year, they also arranged the leading industry trade fair Travel News Market, this year at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre.
Travel News is since the 1st of November 2015 again a part of RES, the independent and family owned travel publishing house, founded 1981.
