The Olive Press is a popular English language publication in Andalucia and is free. The Rough
Guide votes it ‘the best ..for its investigative reporting etc’ while we were recently voted ‘best expat
paper in Spain’ and ‘second in the world’ at the TESCA awards in London.

With a team of half a dozen professionaly-trained journalists we break stories on a weekly basis
and are regularly employed by the national newspapers and TV networks in the UK to investigate
stories in Spain.

Launched in May 2006, it is Andalucia’s only newspaper written by real investigative journalists, professional food, travel and art writers and with contributions from many of Spain’s top foreign writers.

Distribution covers the entire Costa del Sol and all the way along the coast from Cadiz to Mojacar in Almeria and the vast majority of inland Andalucia. It is continually expanding into new areas and new distribution points.

Cyprus Mail – WEBSITE

The Cyprus Mail, now in its 72nd year, is the longest established daily newspaper in Cyprus. The best-selling English language paper, together with its weekly publication the Sunday Mail, they are the main source of information for non-Greek speakers.

The online edition of the paper (Cyprus-mail.com) has significantly increased the readership as it is the island’s most-visited English language web-site, attracting younger readers who, generally, do not buy the hard copy, as well as overseas visitors.

Both publications have an ABC1 readership, consisting of business people and professionals, members of the diplomatic community and foreigners (in the 35-65 age group), the majority of whom are Britons living on the island. This accounts for 80% of the Cyprus Mail’s readership and 70% of the Sunday Mail’s, the remainder made up of Cypriots. Forty per cent of the visitorsof the web-site are from overseas.

With a readership of high net-worth individuals makes it a valued target audience for companies wanting to advertise services and products. The Sunday Mail also carries regular, specially-themed supplements as a way of informing readers about specific services on offer.
